 If you are reading this then hopefully you have taken the step of deciding to fundraise for Asante Sana, first and foremost thank you
 from everyone at Asante, Second, you choose how you want to fundraise, let us know, we can provide posters, sponsor forms,
 Prizes anything you may need to make your event a success. You can also create your own fundraising page at charity giving
 
 Why fundraise for Asante Sana??? We are only able to undertake our work, due to our fundraisers and sponsors, without  your
 help and support, our work wouldnt be possible.
 
 More Skydivers
 
 We have another group of fearless volunteers taking the 14500ft tandam skydive at Cark airfield and we are looking for more brave
 souls to join them. Up to press Marie Watson, Chris Clark and Dean Stewart have argreed to take the plunge onb Saturday 28th
 April 2012.
 
 A Night At The Races
      We have a fun packed race night and entertaiment booked in for Friday 21st Oct at the Red House Workington, the evening starts
 at 7.30 with 8 horse races taking place, then we have top class entertaiment through local accoustic duo The Two-ers finishing the
 night off, Thanks to landlord Paul McGee and Tony Howard Building contractor, Solway Car Sales, Greggains garage, Coastline    
 Builders ltd (M Gartland), A & F Joinery + Roofing, Mark Cartwright Decorators ltd, Cumbria Solar ltd  and MB Electrical   
 Contractors for sponsoring a race and to everyone that sponsored a horse.
 
 Zorb The Lake
 
 Another weird and crazy Zorb Challenge will be taking place on Saturday 24th September, this time, Barry Lister, Ian Lyttleton,
 Stuart McDougall, Mathew Lister  and Scott Denwood will be attempting to zorb a 7 mile course around Derwent water lake at
 Keswick in Cumbria all to raise funds for Asante Sana, anyone whos ever been on water in a zorb will appreciate the challenge
 ahead. Pictures will follow soon, hopefully not of one the guys sinking
 
 Skydive for Asante Sana
 
 On September 17th 2011 the two brave Jues, Denwood and Porter will be attemting a 14,500ft tandam skydive at the Cark airfeild
 Cumbria and all in aid of Asante Sana Foundation, we are extremely grateful to the two Jues for doing such a dramatic and terrifing
 event for us, but, yes , we will still be looking to put as many scared face pictures in our gallery as possible.
 
 Asante Sana at Cockrock festival
 
 A fantastic weekends fundraising was had by Asante Sana Foundation, Zorbing at the Cockrock festival, Cumbria. Brave thrill
 seekers paying for the privlige of being strap into our Zorbs before, not so gentle, pushed down a hill, not for the faint hearted
 or the hungover. Asante Sana Foundation would like to thank Chris Clark, Dean Stewart, Stuart McDougall, Barry and Neil
 Hunton, Scott Denwood and Yvonne Corr for giving up their weekend to help at Cockrock.
 
 100 Club Draw 
 
 Our first 100 club draw will take place on 1st August. 100 People have same number every month, each number costing just £1 
 and chance to win £50 prize, other £50 will go to help Asante Sana continue our work. Anyone wishing to take part or arange a
 draw of their own then please get in touch.
 
 Firewalkers
 
 On 26th February 2011,  30+  brave souls, will be taking a firewalk challenge, walking 20ft barefoot to raise much needed funds
 for Asante Sana. the event is being run by blaze firewalking, Nottingham, and held at Maryport rugby league ground. Local paper,
 The Times & Star will also covering the event, so thanks to them and can we give special thanks to Elite Supplies Maryport,
 who have agreed to be the evenings main sponsor and to everyone taking part in the ultimate test of mental strength.
 
 Twin peaks challenge

 On 18th Febuary 2010, Asante Sana foundation director Stuart McDougall is taking part in a African twin peaks challenge, Stuart
 along side other climbers from The African Roots Foundation, will be climbing Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Mount
 Meru stands at 4566 metres, while Kilimanjaro, the worlds highest free standing mountain stands at 5895 metres. Im sure you
 will agree this is a testing challenge for Stuart and his fellow climbers, who have spent a long time prepering for the event and we
 are sure you will agree its a challange worthy of your support.
  
 
 Asante Sana poker challenge
 
 We are to be holding our first Asante Sana poker challenge at The Sun pub, Dearham. We are hoping to attract as many local poker
 players as possible to what we are sure will be a great days poker. Can we thank landlords Frank & Julie. to Barry Dixon who has
 organised the event and to cottage pie, Dearham for donating the raffle prize.
